EastEnders has revealed Nicola Mitchell’s evil plan involving Phil, in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Nicola found out that her ex-husband Teddy was in a new relationship with Sharon, and she wanted Sharon’s ex, Phil, to help her split them up.
She failed to get Phil on side so decided to head over to his house to try again – but Nicola was shocked to find that his kitchen was a complete mess, as it became clear that Phil wasn’t looking after himself.
In today’s episode, Phil was furious that Nicola had found out the truth and asked her to leave, but she told him that his secret was safe with her.
But this wasn’t the case, as Nicola immediately called a meeting with Sharon and explained what she had discovered at Phil’s house.
Sharon was concerned about her ex-husband and ended up telling Nicola that he is a recovering alcoholic – as well as admitting that they kissed several months ago.
While Sharon told Teddy she had gone to see Linda, she actually went to check on Phil, and Nicola made it her mission to tell Teddy that his new girlfriend had lied to him.
Sharon demanded Phil to tell her what was going on, but Phil was adamant that Nicola had lied about the state of his house.
The pair spoke about their previous kiss, and as Sharon told Phil she would always be there for him, it looked like Phil was about to open up to her – but they were interrupted by a text from Teddy.
Meanwhile, Nicola took the opportunity to try and seduce Teddy. She kissed him and he didn’t pull away, and they were nearly caught when Sharon returned to the bar.
With Teddy and Sharon’s relationship still intact, Nicola hatched an evil new plan and called round to Phil’s house again with a bottle of whisky.
“Look after yourself, Phil,” she said, before leaving the alcohol on the table. “Or find someone who can look after you.”
It seems that Nicola wants Phil to relapse, to push Sharon closer to him. But will Phil be able to resist temptation?
