Congratulations are in order for actor Daisy Wood-Davis, who has welcomed into the world.
The soap star, who played Kim Butterfield until 2018, and her husband announced via Instagram Stories that their son Ari Jax was born on December 8 and that he was born next to their Christmas tree.
Sadly, the days since he was born have been a bit of a bumpy ride.
“The birth was nothing short of pure magic,” she wrote, before going on to explain that: “Ari has been quite poorly and he’s unfortunately endured such a lot for a 9-day-old, including 2 operations (the first at 4 days old).”
She called the situation “a living nightmare” but explained that was also “so grateful” to have the little one in the world. In a follow-up Story, she said that the family was back home and that all the stress of the last week was behind them, adding that both parents were proud of him for pulling through.
“Mummy, Daddy and your besotted big brother Asa, could not love you more (unbelievably, we will but it doesn’t seem possible!),” Daisy continued.
“Let’s re-start this post partum journey and celebrate our beautiful son properly, in the way he deserves.
“We love you with all our hearts, Ari Jax.”
Daisy and Majin began dating in 2016 after meeting on the Hollyoaks set, and then they . They welcomed Asa in 2021 and tied the knot the next year.
