Emmerdale has teased trouble ahead for Ross Barton, as his enemies teamed up to conspire against him.

Yesterday’s (November 5) episode saw Ross on a rampage, after Mackenzie Boyd’s decision to steal money from newcomer Jade resulted in April Windsor’s kidnapping.

After helping to save the teenager, Ross told April about the true and distressing circumstances surrounding her mum Donna’s death. He then set his sights on Mack, and beat him up for causing the kidnapping ordeal.

When Ross approached her again later, she threatened to call social services to keep Moses away from him. “You really don’t want to get on the wrong side of me, Charity,” he warned her.

“I certainly wouldn’t miss him,” added Caleb, who was unhappy about Ross dating his daughter Steph.

The trio seemingly decided that they would get rid of Ross, and exchanged a knowing
