star Lisa Riley has shared her frustration at the latest scam targeting her fans.

The Mandy Dingle actor took to Instagram this week to remind fans that online adverts using her face and quotes attributed to her are fake, designed to trick people out of their money.

In the post, she shared a screenshot of one of the Facebook adverts she’d spotted and wrote: “FAKE FAKE FAKE. I’ve had so many messages this week regarding this post!!!

“If they have placed my name with anything it’s FAKE!!!! I’m surprised anyone ever believes anything anymore!! It’s not true, it’s not me, it’s faker than fake, and keeps being FAKE!!!”

She then urged her followers: “Please block and report #block #fake #untrue #fakepost #delete makes me so angry!!!!”

It’s not the first time the Lisa has warned fans of scams using her likeness. In a post last year, she shared she was “getting hundreds of messages” every single day from people asking her if she was promoting diet pills or asking fans for financial aid.

“My social media is all fun, and positive. Common sense should REALLY kick in by now, these pages JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!! I am not….will not…..EVER BE PART OF IT!!! Don’t click on ANYTHING on these pages!!!” she wrote at the time.

But while the actor is busy warning fans off-screen, her on-screen family are set to have quite the dramatic Christmas.

The drama is set to kick off with Belle’s hour-long trial in court during Thursday’s (December 19) episode.
