introduced a new twist tonight (December 4), and it’s one viewers weren’t impressed by.

The latest instalment saw  tell the remaining eight campmates that all of them would be competing to win a ticket to the Celebrity Cyclone Bushtucker Trial. Not only does that mean the winner is guaranteed to take part in the show’s most fun activity, but it grants them immunity from the next few eliminations.

While the episode featured two Bushtucker Trials, with all the campmates getting covered in critters, viewers weren’t happy about the twist.

Taking to social media, fans complained that giving one person immunity from the public vote felt like the producers were interfering with proceedings too much or introduced it too late into the season to make much impact.

The celebrities competed in the Arcade of Agony in two teams of four, with GK Barry, Danny Jones, Richard Coles and  in one team, and Barry McGuigan, and Alan Halsall in the other.

At the end of the episode, Ant and Dec revealed that two campmates from each team would compete again in tomorrow’s episode to find out who wins the immunity.

Those four are: Coleen, Danny, Maura and Oti.
